Mukesh Choudhary, born 6th July 1996 in Pardodas, Bhilwara District, Rajasthan, India, is a left arm medium-fast bowler who has represented Indian domestic cricket and the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Early Life and Home Career

Choudhary began his cricketing career in Rajasthan but moved to Maharashtra in search of greater cricketing prospects. He played for Maharashtra in his first-class cricket debut during the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy on November 9, 2017. He took part in his List A match on October 7, 2019, in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, and entered the Twenty20 cricket on November 8, 2019, in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

IPL Career with Chennai Super Kings

Choudhary was picked up by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in February 2022 for the IPL auction. He burst out in the IPL 2022 season with 16 wickets, becoming CSK's leading wicket-taker. His new-ball swing and the capability to make an early impact with the ball made him an important part of the team's bowling unit.

Unfortunately, Choudhary injured his back which kept him sidelined for the whole IPL 2023 season. Despite this, CSK remained hopeful about his future and retained him at INR 30 lakh in the 2025 IPL auction.
